Welcoming Ellen to Laurence Associates

We’re pleased to welcome Ellen to Laurence Associates, joining the team in 2026 as an Architect and Passivhaus Designer.

Ellen qualified as an Architect from the University of the West of England in 2020 and went on to qualify as a Passivhaus Designer in 2023. She brings a wealth of experience within the residential sector, having worked on bespoke extensions, refurbishments and new build homes across the Southwest.

With a particular interest in sustainable construction methodologies and technologies, Ellen enjoys creating thoughtful designs that respond to both the needs of the client and the character of their surroundings. Her experience spans all stages of a project, from measured surveys and concept design through to planning, technical design and onsite support.

Ellen works across both Revit and ArchiCAD and will be contributing her experience and knowledge to a diverse range of projects at Laurence Associates. Splitting her time between our Truro and Exeter offices, she brings a valuable perspective to our growing team across the Southwest.

Away from architecture, Ellen enjoys exploring the coastline and moors with her family, as well as reading, swimming and building Lego.

We’re really pleased to have Ellen on board and look forward to seeing her experience and passion for sustainable design continue to contribute to the work we do.

Welcome to the team, Ellen!
