Redruth Housing Scheme Approved

Laurence Associates is delighted to have secured Reserved Matters approval for a thoughtfully designed scheme of nine new homes in Redruth.

Building on the outline consent previously secured by our team, this stage focused on shaping a development that would not only function efficiently but create an attractive and welcoming place to live. Through close collaboration between our in-house planners and architects, we were able to develop a layout that balances practical requirements with a strong sense of character and identity.

The approved scheme delivers a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes arranged around a carefully considered street scene. Drawing inspiration from Cornwall’s rich architectural heritage, the design incorporates traditional forms and materials, with a contemporary interpretation, creating a development that feels rooted in its setting while providing high-quality homes for modern living.

Beyond the homes themselves, significant attention was given to how residents will experience the development day to day. The layout provides generous amenity space, appropriate parking and safe access throughout, ensuring the scheme functions as a cohesive and sustainable neighbourhood rather than simply a collection of houses.

This approval reflects our commitment to creating places that respond to local character, meet planning objectives and deliver lasting value for both clients and future residents. We look forward to seeing this vision progress towards construction and ultimately become a place that people are proud to call home.
