Only a Few Days to Go: Groundsure Cornwall Women in Property

With just a few days to go, we are looking forward to joining the Groundsure Cornwall Women in Property event at The Alverton Hotel in Truro on Thursday 17th September.

Our Planning Director, Liz Alexander MRTPI, Chartered Town Planner, will be speaking during the morning, sharing practical insight into two important areas of planning: planning constraints and the latest update to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

Liz will explore how planning constraints can influence development opportunities and potential risks, looking beyond what you might typically find in a standard planning report. From National Landscapes and heritage assets to Green Belt, conservation areas and nature designations, understanding these considerations early can be an important part of shaping a successful project.

She will also discuss the latest NPPF update, highlighting key changes and considering what they could mean for developers, solicitors and other property professionals working across the sector.

Liz will be joined at the event by Sam Fuller, Associate Planner, and Jess Eva, Architectural Technician and Energy Assessor. While Liz will be the Laurence Associates speaker, Sam and Jess will be there throughout the morning to support the session, answer questions and connect with attendees.

Taking place from 9:30am on Thursday 17th September, the event is a great opportunity to hear from professionals across Cornwall’s property sector, gain practical insight into current planning matters and make valuable connections.

There are only a few days to go, so if you have not booked your place yet, now is the time.

We look forward to seeing you at The Alverton.

We look forward to seeing you there and sharing our knowledge with fellow professionals from across Cornwall’s property and development industry.
