Regen Planning Conference

Our MD Richard Marsden attended the Regen Planning Conference this week.

Given the wide-scale reforms to renewable energy policy over the last year, including proposed changes to the NPPF, plus the development of the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan, this was a key opportunity to gain insight from industry experts on how to achieve the UK Government’s Clean Power 2030 targets as well as to take part in debate and networking.

Regen is an important annual event for our company, given our expertise in this area of planning and our portfolio of renewable energy projects. We currently have a number of schemes in various stages of the planning process including large scale solar developments (some of which are EIA development), BESS schemes and a number of projects for the repowering of wind turbines.

With planning, design and landscaping in house we are well-placed to help deliver renewable energy projects – many of which require landscape and visual impact assessments. Our teams work closely together throughout the planning process to work towards a positive outcome for all our projects.
