A multi-million pound scheme to convert a camping and caravanning site at Carbis Bay into a prestige, luxury holiday complex.
Our clients initially retained us to undertake a detailed constraints assessment and a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), before developing masterplanning and comprehensive design for both the chalet units and amenity buildings.
We designed a scheme for more than 120 holiday chalets, new owner accommodation, and a large, contemporary recreation building housing a swimming pool, gym facilities and restaurant.
Community consultation and negotiations with Cornwall Council followed, and planning permission was granted for the ambitious project. Our clients then sold the site to developers.
