We were instructed to submit an application for planning consent to redevelop a former retail unit on the outskirts of Truro, with the aim of renting it to a major electrical retailer.

We had to demonstrate that it was a suitable commercial site and met local planning policy criteria, which we did by assessing other retail units in the city.

After gaining permission, we discharged the council’s planning conditions, which involved our landscape architects preparing a detailed landscaping scheme for the site.
