Restronguet Point

Our flagship residential project to design a replacement home, garage and waterside boathouse on a site at Restronguet Point. The site overlooks the waters of the Carrick Roads, south of the village of Feock, in the heart of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Presenting as a two-storey structure from the front and three from the rear, the build will exploit the natural contours of the site, the recessed sections and limited height projections of the cantilever design mitigating its impact on neighbouring properties. The new four-bay garage will be concealed from the road by altering the garden levels, and the boathouse, at the rear of the garden, will appear low profile.

The bespoke contemporary home will be finished with grey slate stonework, white render and large areas of glazing to take advantage of the superb views towards St Just in Roseland and beyond. Work started on site in Autumn 2017 and we were retained to provide on site supervision to the building contract and a Professional Consultant’s Certificate.

The development for our private client was completed in the summer of 2020.
