St Austell Brewery Distribution Centre

St Austell Brewery asked us to design a suite of offices as part of an expansion of its distribution centre at St Columb, between Wadebridge and Newquay in north Cornwall.

We worked closely with the brewery and a structural engineer on the design and layout of the new offices, which spread across two storeys, keen that they remained connected to the existing admin areas.

Minimal external intervention was needed, except additional ground and first floor windows, designed to match the style and materials of the existing building.

As part of the building regulation process, a Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) Assessment was commissioned, and we worked closely with the assessor to provide advice for the energy requirements needed to satisfy building control.
