Durrants Farm
This project was one of a series of 5MW schemes on which we prepared the planning application and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for the same client.
The 5MW limit was dictated by the feed in tariff set by the government at the time, which was necessary to make these schemes viable. The decrease in construction costs for these development s has subsequently led to larger schemes coming forward, as the incentives have been removed by government and viability is now dependent on scale.
