Canworthy Water
Still one of the largest solar farms in Cornwall, this 56 hectare scheme was approved by Cornwall Council in January 2013 and constructed over the following two years. The development was considered to be EIA development, so was accompanied by an Environmental Statement prepared by our team. We also prepared the submission of the application itself, and undertook the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment.
The Council’s Strategic Planning Committee voted overwhelmingly to support the scheme, with 14 votes in favour, 1 abstention, and no votes against.
