Laurence Associates is an award-winning planning-led architectural practice based in Cornwall & Devon.

Our team of town planners, architects and designers and landscape architects work together to offer a fully integrated approach to development, from concept to completion.

A well-established, professional and friendly practice, we have a proven track record for securing planning permission for challenging sites, attracting nationwide commissions on a range of projects.

No two days are the same as you’ll use your skills and experience to ensure our clients achieve their goals across a diverse range of projects including barn conversions, renewable energy schemes, all types of residential developments, commercial proposals and tourism.

Career Planner

Laurence Associates is seeking to appoint a new Town Planner.

Candidates must be proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused. The successful candidate will have a range of planning skills and knowledge including dealing with a range of planning application sizes and types.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a planning role and a planning degree or qualification is desirable.

RTPI membership is also desirable, but not essential as we will support you in working towards becoming chartered.

What We Offer

For these positions we offer a competitive salary of between £24,000 – £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with:

  • 23/26* days holiday plus statutory bank holidays (*Senior level)
  • Long service extra day holiday (5 years)
  • 37.5 hours per week (full time)
