Cornwall Council Housing Requirement - Laurence Associates

The need to deliver higher housing numbers across Cornwall means that the Council’s housing requirement has gone up considerably and that the required 5-year supply of housing can no longer be demonstrated. This means that some of the policies of the Cornwall Local Plan are now considered out of date.

This is a significant change in planning terms as it means that there are less restrictions and greater flexibility for planning proposals that will deliver much needed housing. There’s an immediate opportunity to take advantage of this more positive position to progress planning applications for housing across the County.

At Laurence Associates, our highly skilled planners are experts in advising you about the most effective strategy to deliver your land and sites. With an in-house team which also includes architects and landscape designers, we can assist with all parts of the development process, from concept through to completion.
