Maen Valley
Film 002
The Maen Valley project is a contemporary hillside home designed to complement its natural setting near Maen Valley Holiday Park. Our two-stage planning approach began with outline permission to replace an existing barn, followed by full approval for a two-story dwelling featuring a reverse-living layout. This design maximises garden views in an upper-level open-plan living space, complemented by five bedrooms and an indoor pool leading to a landscaped lower courtyard.
Our landscape architect created a sheltered courtyard with planted terraces, a calming pool, and a water feature, framed by white-stemmed birch trees to visually connect with the surrounding garden. The design palette reflects local farmstead aesthetics, with timber, stone, and traditional gabled forms. A natural slate roof with hidden gutters enhances its clean, barn-inspired profile. Construction began in 2022 and concluded in early 2024, blending modern living with regional architectural heritage.

Yeo Design at Higher Harlyn
Film 004
We recommended Yeo Design to our clients and they were commissioned to design this stunning staircase and kitchen at this very exciting project at Higher Harlyn.
“A very special project and an extremely challenging one at that. But’s that’s how we like it here. We love a bit of raw hot rolled steel, it creates a logistical nightmare due to the sheer weight of the stuff, but totally worth it when you get a finished product like this. Spot the steel also cutting through the floating kitchen units. The kitchen is fully kitted out with Miele, and an aga chucked in for good measure”.

Higher Harlyn
Film 006
A truly magnificent property built to an incredibly high specification and finish on this north coast location.
A stunning family home for the local owners and managers of the family run holiday park on a sensitive site close to the North Cornwall coast of Padstow, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The chosen design is sympathetic to the character and appearance of the AONB, utilising recessive finishes of reclaimed Delabole slate roof and slate hanging, with natural stonework walls. Slim profile glazing ensures uninterrupted views out of the site. Traditional in form this proposal successfully integrates modern design elements.

The Point
Film 009
Our design for The Point, in north Cornwall, is a fusion of modern luxury and sustainability, complementing the surrounding landscape and enjoying far reaching coastal views towards Polzeath.
We were commissioned to design seven bespoke two and three-bedroom contemporary holiday apartments, creating a luxury destination for environmentally-conscious travelers.
The curved, undulating building snakes along the hill ridge, providing reverse living accommodation across two floors. The inset balconies maximise the views across to Pentire Point without compromising privacy.
The building was finished with high quality natural materials including Kebony cladding and soffits, and locally-sourced stone. Ground source heat pumps have been installed, supplying hot water and underfloor heating throughout. The sedum flat roof, with its profiled curved zinc fascia, is a dramatic design feature which helps anchor the development in its spectacular surroundings.
