Located in a rural setting, approximately 1km to the south of St Austell, Trewhiddle was a camping and caravanning park with basic amenities, serving the tourist industry. Our client had purchased the site and sought a redevelopment that included permanent holiday lodges and bespoke ancillary facilities.
We were instructed to undertake both the masterplanning of the redevelopment and the detailed design for the lodges and ancillary buildings. Following in-depth pre-application negotiations with the planning authority, the redevelopment was approved without any significant objection being raised. Building Regulation approval followed.
