We were approached by an existing client to provide planning and architectural advice regarding the development potential of a former lifeboat station on the harbour at Polkerris. We were then instructed to design the proposed refurbishment of the building to provide a restaurant space.
The challenge was to provide a functional space whilst respecting its historic use and visual appearance. This was achieved with minimal alterations to the external appearance of the building, except for the insertion of glazing within the former slipway door.
The works have been carried out and the restaurant is successfully trading.
